The rooms are quiet and generally offer central heating, an electronic key card, and tea and coffee making facilities. The beds are exceptionally comfortable and the staff is polite and courteous. The location of the hotel is marvellous and magnificent, in the good thai restaurant next door and nearby a tram station.
Cannot find any fault.

Thoroughly enjoyed the way our good-sized room with 3 beds was arranged. The hotel was in an unbeatable location near dining options as well as many restaurants/bars. Furthermore, convenient near a couple of tram stops.

missingWrote a review on 13 Novloud noiseno air conditioning
The room was uncomfortably loud, I could hear everything going on outside. Another thing was the lack of air conditioning. I had hoped for a cool upgrade. The only highlight was the friendly staff, but that's not enough to make up for the inconvenience. I almost wrote a good review but just couldn't.

The staff was friendly and helpful, and we loved having a fridge in the room. The location was fantastic, just a 30-second walk to the tram stop. The public transportation was free with the Basel card provided by the hotel, a nice bonus!
The shower temperature fluctuated at times.

missingWrote a review on 08 Septmodern bathroomclean roomnoisy room
The modern bathroom gave it a fresh feel. Comfy, clean room provided a decent night's rest, especially after all the hustle.
No air conditioning is a significant drawback. Trying to cool off by opening the window was futile due to the noise from the busy street and trams outside. The room's size was tight, a bit cramped for comfort, and internal noises from hallways felt intrusive, especially during the night. Power sockets and light switches were rather poorly placed, a minor annoyance while trying to charge devices.

fantastic base for exploring basel's top attractions and parks
I loved the hotel's ideal proximity to fantastic landmarks like the Jean Tinguely Museum, just over a kilometer away, and Muensterplatz, a quick walk of less than 10 minutes, allowing me to dive into Basel's charm without a hassle. Plus, the friendly hotel staff provided helpful insights for local exploration and the seamless continental breakfast was a great start to each day.
